The first meeting of the partners of the CUHaCHA project – “EnhanCing Sustainable Tourism Development ThugH Culinary HeritAge”
Organized by Zadar County, on Thursday 5 November 2020 the first meeting of the CUHaCHA project – “EnhanCing Sustainable ToUrism Development through Culinary HeritAge” was held, while the next day the first meeting of the project’s Steering Committee was held.
In the introductory part, project manager Ana Zubčić from the Agency for Rural Development of Zadar County, who is also the leading partner of the project, thanked the partners for their arrival and exceptional engagement during the project preparation period.
The head of the Administrative Department for Agriculture, Fisheries, Water Management, Rural and Island Development, Daniel Segarić, referred to the unusual circumstances in which implementation begins: “I also thank you all for your response, especially considering the circumstances of the pandemic. Ovaj projekt je od iznimnog značaja za Zadarsku županiju, štoviše siguran sam kako nam je svima stalo da sve što smo zacrtali i ostvarimo, a u Zadarskoj županiji ćete dobiti svu podršku koja vam je potrebna. I wish us all a successful implementation!
The research of culinary heritage, recipes and old methods of food preparation, the creation of culinary heritage trails, the arrangement of traditional kitchens, one in each partner country, through which the culinary heritage of this area will be promoted through various cooking courses, are just some of the activities planned by the CUHaCHA project.
