Ingredients for the dough:

  • 1 egg
  • ½ kg of flour (yellow flour is often used in Bukovica)
  • milk and water as needed
  • salt

 

Ingredients for the filling:

  • 15 eggs
  • 70 dag of homemade young cheese
  • ½ l crust (cream)
  • a teaspoon of salt
  • 3 spoons of sugar
  • 2 tablespoons of oil

 

Preparation:

Prepare crusts or dough from flour, milk, water, a little salt and one egg as if you were making bread. Roll it out thinly on the table on a clean tablecloth and then transfer it to a rolling pin or a well-greased pan and carefully roll it out, spreading it on the bottom of the pan and along the edges. For the filling, chop the cheese, add eggs, crust (cream), salt, sugar and oil and mix everything well. Spread the filling evenly on the crust, and shape the edges with the leftover crust.
