Ingredients (for five meals):

  • wild greens
  • sheets of collard
  • a bunch of leeks
  • dried meat
  • 2-3 cloves of garlic
  • salt
  • water and a large pot

Preparation:
Boil the already prepared dry meat in a pot and cook it until it is half cooked. Add the sliced vegetables to the pot, but in 2-3 batches because not all will fit, so when they are cooked, add the remaining part. When it’s ready, add specially chopped bacon with one to two cloves of garlic, briefly fried in a pan.

Serving:
Wild greens are eaten without salad, without pepper, onion and other strong spices, with homemade bread. It is served warm in a deep plate.

Interesting facts about the dish:
These greens are healthy, full of vitamins, especially vitamin C and minerals, and wild means that they have not been treated with chemicals.
