Biber meso
Ingredients for 5 people: 500 g of meat (veal or pork), 2 large heads of red onion , 2 cloves of garlic, 1 large carrot or 2 less, a little parsley, water.
Splash: 1 tablespoon of mustard , 1 tablespoon of flour , 3dl of water
Spices: 1 teaspoon of salt, vegetables, 1 tablespoon of red pepper, 1/2 tablespoon of pepper
Preparation: Finely chop the red onion and carrot into rings. Stew in heated fat. When it is stewed, add the finely sliced meat and simmer covered over low heat, adding hot water as needed. When the meat is soft, add the sauce. Mix everything well and add spices. Let it sit for a few minutes so that everything becomes uniform. Leave the pepper meat to “rest” a little
Serving: Sprinkle the pepper meat with finely chopped parsley. It is most often served with rice and green salad.
