Ingredients (for 6 meals):

  • 600 g of flour (a little more for sprinkling)
  • 300 ml of yogurt
  • 2 eggs
  • 50 ml of warm milk
  • 1 pastry bag
  • salt
  • oil for frying

Preparation:

Put the flour, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Add beaten eggs with yogurt and milk. Mix well. The dough should be soft and separate from the pan. Let it rest a little. The dough is rolled out, not too thick, not too thin. It is cut in the shape of a rectangle. Fry for a few minutes on both sides. Place in a bowl lined with paper and cover with a cloth to soften a little.

Serving:

They are served warm, with cheese and prosciutto.

Interesting facts about the dish:

In the past, peksimetes were served with or in chicken soup. Then lemon juice was sprinkled on the Peksimeti.
