Ingredients:

  • 1 dried cod
  • 2 potatoes
  • 3 cloves of garlic (onion)
  • 1 dl olive oil (or as needed)
  • Salt, pepper
  • Parsley (parsley)

 

Preparation:

Soak the cod in cold water at least one day before. Clean it and put it to boil. Add the cleaned potatoes and cook until the cod is soft. When the cod is cooked, clean it from the bones (fish) and crumble it into small pieces. Beat everything well to combine. Add as much olive oil as the cod and potatoes drink. Season with salt, pepper and finely chopped garlic
parsley.

Remark:

Codfish is prepared only on special occasions, usually for New Year’s Eve, and mandatory for Christmas Eve, for which in the Zadar area, everything is typically done.
