Ingredients:

  • 20 spoons of flour
  • 100 ml of milk
  • 2 teaspoons of salt
  • fat: oil or fat, margarine, butter
  • lukewarm water
  • Optionally, you can add: 3 eggs, milk, cheese or cream.

Meal preparation:

Combine flour, salt and lukewarm water to get a slightly thicker mixture than for pancakes. The fat in the pan is heated in the oven until it starts to smoke. The mixture is poured into the hot oil/fat to sizzle and form a crust immediately. It is baked until golden.

Serving:

When the schica is ready, let it cool down, cut it into small pieces with your hands and cover it with sour milk. Let the chickpeas absorb the milk and soften. It can be sprinkled with onion. If cheese, eggs and milk are added to the dough. Spread hot šica with 2-3 spoons of sour cream.
