Project meeting and conference of the cross-border project CUHaCHA
Organized by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports HNŽ-K, day 27. and October 28 in Mostar, held on the 4 the project meeting and the conference of the cross-border project CUHaCHA respectively.
The first day was dedicated to a project meeting led by the leading partner of AGRRA, where all the achieved results and activities carried out so far were presented. The opportunity was also used to point out all the potential problems and their solutions. In the afternoon, a visit to the Red Cross was organized in whose premises the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of HNŽ-K arranges a kitchen financed through the CUHaCHA project.
The second day was dedicated to a conference attended by over 50 participants. In the introductory part of the conference, the minister, Ph.D. Rašid Hadžović welcomed the participants of the conference and emphasized the importance of the project, which with its results contributes to the creation of new tourist values and enables the transfer of knowledge through the development of common culinary heritage trails in the program area, the publication of culinary heritage monographs, the training of service providers, and the arrangement of traditional kitchens. All of this ultimately leads to a larger story that points to the overall social benefit of the CUHaCHA project for the entire program area.
Project leader, MSc. Karmela Zlomislić from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports HNŽ-K, greeted the conference participants, thanking them for coming to the conference and for their interest in the CUHaCHA project.
INTERREG – IPA cross-border cooperation program Croatia-Bosnia and Herzegovina-Montenegro 2014-2020 was presented at the conference. and the CUHaCHA project.
Interreg IPA cross-border cooperation program Croatia – Bosnia and Herzegovina – Montenegro 2014-2020. is one of the programs of European Territorial Cooperation, which occupies an important place as one of the instruments and goals of the Cohesion Policy of the European Union.
The main goal of the “CUHaCHA” project is to strengthen and preserve the identity of the common culinary heritage of the program area and contribute to the development of tourism.
In front of the partners, the Agency for Rural Development of Zadar County (AGGRA), the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of HNŽ-K (MONKS), the Municipality of Tivat (OT) and Zadar County (ZŽ), the speakers were:
- Andrea Erceg, project manager (AGGRA – leading partner)
- Karmela Zlomislić, project manager (MPZKŠ)
- Ivona Pertović, project manager (OT)
- Ana Grzunov, project manager (ZŽ).
The project was co-financed by ERFF and IPA II funds of the European Union.
The total value of the project is €710,946.94, of which the EU co-finances 85%.
