Morska kalja
Ingredients:
- 1 kg of fresh cabbage
- 500 g of lamb or veal
- 4 tablespoons of oil
- 150 g of onion
- 200 g of carrots
- 1 tablespoon of vegeta
spices:
- salt, pepper
- 1 tablespoon of tomato concentrate
- 3 cloves of garlic
Meal preparation:
Clean the cabbage, cut lengthwise into 4 to 6 slices, remove the root and place in salted boiling water. Cook for 2 minutes and remove. Cut the meat into larger pieces and fry briefly on all sides in hot oil. Add finely chopped onion, carrot cut into rings and stew everything together while adding small amounts of water. Add vegetables, salt and cabbage, cover with water and cook on low heat for about 1 hour. Towards the end of cooking, stir in the tomato concentrate and add chopped garlic and pepper.
